($10.5 Million for a backup catcher to hit .174 Avg / .298 OBP / .343 SLG / .641 OPS) Its a difficult market for Seattle right now because the only true sellers right now are LAA, and Oak (Al West Rivals), CHW (Everyone will be shopping them), Col (Difficult to read players with weird stadium physics) and Mia. Everyone else is lingering around .500 so teams like Stl, Pit, SF, Ari, Cin, ChC, NyM, Wsh, Det, Tor, TB, and Kc Are all either 1 good week away from being buyers or 1 bad week away from being sellers.

The Pirates have such SP depth right now losing Chandler would be manageable. Him, Solometo, Harrington (who I am very high on) Ashcraft, Burrows, amongst others. They have been terrible at developing bats so striking while the iron is hot with Termarr might be smart. Management is so reluctant to make impact moves like that though I highly doubt it will happen

Alec Burleson on the Cardinals might have also been a worthy pick. Last year in 315 ABs, he posted a slash line of .244/.300/.390 with 8 HRs and 36 RBIs. Now, this year in 239 ABs, he is slashing .285/.319/.469 and already has 12 home runs and 32 RBIs. Most of the production coming AFTER march/april where he wasn’t very good. But what do you think?

With Betts andMuncy out, this would solve a lot of problems for both teams.

As a Giants fan, after seein the team go 0-5 since Willie Mays’ passing, I have given up hope on the team makin the postseason. Sure this team is gonna get Wade, Snell, Ray, and Cobb back, but when they come back, it’s gonna be too late. In my opinion, I think a long rebuild is needed now. I was so excited about this season, but it has become a disaster! Farhan needs to go!!!!! He has destroyed this once proud franchise!!!!!

Like I said the last time, the Giants are absolutely miserable. They had one good stretch in May that lasted like two weeks. Now that they are facing Dodgers, Guardians and Braves before the All Star break, they might be done already for this season. They really need to wake up and quickly.

Gonna respectfully disagree with the Alec Bohm pick. I think his breakout season was last year as he was the Phillies leader in RBI. I think the Phillies breakout player this year is clearly Christopher Sanchez. He's their #4 starter and his ERA is under 3.
